Another 1st time~

• Has been nervous for a few hours when I heard that Ding Tian is sicked and I have to prepare my topic to replace him.
• I am the head of DJ in library but today is the first time I on air.
• However I'm so proud of myself as the talk runs smoothly~

Script of the day-- 27 March 2012

Morning, morning and good morning to High Schoolian! I'm DJ Jaywin, today I'm going to talk about, the Earth Hour. Before that, let's wake you up with an energetic song, the Jungle P by 5050! (Jungle P song played)

Dear High Schoolian, have you ever heard of the Earth Hour? How well do you actually know about the Earth Hour? The Earth Hour is a global event organised by World Wildlife Fund or in short, the WWF.

It is held on the last Saturday of March annually by asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour. By this, it is able to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.

Talking about the climate change, have you ever wonder how does climate change occur? The story is like this, a continuous flow of energy from the sun heats the Earth. Around the atmosphere has some natural occurring gases especially the Carbon Dioxide, are known as the greenhouse gases, which will trap this heat like a blanket, keeping the Earth at an average of 15 degree Celcius, which is warm enough to sustain life. Therefore by reducing the usage of electricity, it helps to reduce the release of Carbon Dioxide, the greenhouse gases. So you can me can save the world by just a simple move, which is switching off the light for an hour! （Save the world by Swedish House Mafia）

This year, Earth Hour has launched a programme, called " I Will If You Will" on Youtube to show case how everyone has the power to change the world we live in. The ask is simple, take yourself a video on what you are willing to do to save our planet or accept one of the challenges posted by others supporters. The programme is indeed very interactive while supporting the cause! (大地之歌 by 滚石群星)

So, are you ready to support the Earth Hour? For your information, the Earth Hour 2012 will take place on the 31st of March, which will be this coming Saturday from 8.30pm to 9.30pm! An event will be held in Sunway Piramid on that day too! However, if you are not able to attend the event, what you need to do is switching off the light at your house for an hour, starting from 8.30pm to 9.30pm on this Saturday!
